No Family Left Behind (NFLB) is a county-funded program of The Heriford House Foundation. It provides free intensive in-home family therapy for eligible Boone County families.
Clinicians work with youth and caregivers to build on family strengths, improve communication, and develop practical skills for everyday life. Treatment is tailored to each family’s needs.

Eligibility & Referrals
NFLB serves eligible families in Boone County. A referral and screening help the team understand your family’s needs and determine whether the program is a fit. Submitting a referral does not guarantee enrollment or immediate availability.
NFLB is free for eligible participating families through county funding. This free care applies to the NFLB program; it is not an offer of free individual therapy or free Counseling Center services.

If NFLB does not fit your needs or you live outside Boone County, you may contact The Heriford House Counseling Center to ask about paid therapy services. Ask about fees, insurance, and copays before beginning care. These services are distinct from the Foundation’s free NFLB program. Financial assistance through Support a Session depends on available funding.
